I will create a tutorial to show how this is done.Tom Meekshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13580494966261788985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059318635584644192.post-39335505214564793842013-09-10T18:07:16.416-07:002013-09-10T18:07:16.416-07:00hello since I am new to this is there a text butto...hello since I am new to this is there a text button in the cubify invent program to personalize an object with a name in it? if so I am sorry can you tell me where it is thank you.Im trying to add a name to a bracelet thanksDianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04581843369634223441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059318635584644192.post-3300880509987429222012-09-06T21:10:15.317-07:002012-09-06T21:10:15.317-07:00Tom,
I believe the Mirror fields work like this: ...Tom,

I believe the Mirror fields work like this: you must first click the field, which it will then turn blue indicateing it is selected. Next, any items you click will be added to the field. Then click the next field to select it. Then click the axis. I suspect the originating software is a command driven one and this is the 'shortcut' to entering command lines...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14939815918866577614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059318635584644192.post-68595642252297854762012-08-30T09:09:34.855-07:002012-08-30T09:09:34.855-07:00I am also struggling a bit because the approach is...I am also struggling a bit because the approach is different from what I'm used to using. It is not a perfect solution. But, nothing is. What we need to do is to concentrate on learning a workflow that allows us to build up successful strategies. It will come.

And, yes, I do plan to create more tutorials. :)

THANKS!Tom Meekshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13580494966261788985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059318635584644192.post-41438604700766827122012-08-29T21:35:57.751-07:002012-08-29T21:35:57.751-07:00Wow! I'd been really floundering with Cubify Invent, but walking through your video, with it running on one side of my screen and Invent running on the other side, I could duplicate what you did.

I'm comfortable with OpenSCAD, which is a totally different approach. Now, finally, I'm seeing how I can create equivalent things with Cubify Invent.

I sure hope you're going to do more tutorials like these -- VERY much appreciated!
Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04237285741024956335noreply@blogger.com
