As you can s...Thanks for the kind words, Wade. :)

As you can see by re-reading the article, I've had to make some significant changes to reflect some discoveries as I looked into things more deeply.

With the Cube 2, it was discovered that purple Elmer's glue stick coulbe be used in an emergency. But, I have not tested it with the Cube 3. One of the things I am planning to test is water soluble hair spray. Users of some other makes of 3D printers have reported that it, too, can be used with some print tables. When you run out of CubeStick or something happens, like freeing, it is definitely useful to have a temporary replacement that will potentially work.

The difference between the table of the Cube 2 and that of the Cube 3 is that we really don't know much about the surface coating of the Cube 3. Glass was pretty evident. I have some blemished Cube 3 tables which can be used to test the hair spray idea; but, I sure wouldn't do it if I only had one plate. :)
Tom Meekshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13580494966261788985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059318635584644192.post-44904534599664680282014-12-28T11:39:26.409-08:002014-12-28T11:39:26.409-08:00Tom;

Lots of good detailed information and great photos.

I downloaded your test file from Cubify and would love to get my hands on the Gap Tool holder that you created.

I will definitely be purchasing the Cube Organizer once you get it ready, great idea and great design.

I have been testing some different glues since my issue with what I believed to have been the frozen Cube glue but while I have had some great results I have not come up with the definitive alternative yet.

Keep on keeping on, and Seasons Greetings

WNAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03278627238449011498noreply@blogger.com
